this photo was taken at esplande. can you see the big pointed durian shell like roof at the background of the pic. and on the left was the lantern i had that night ( 14/10/06). a group of owl from Leo went to esplande after the event ( read below ). we share ghost stories thought it wasn't at the hunger ghost festival instead it's one day after mid-autumn... but esplanda at night got that errie feeling at mid-night. the ghosty wind from Singapore river, the unexpected shadow from the passers-by and the wriggling candle lights wowow~~~ did bring a chill up every listeners' spine.
i also saw the other side of the esplande. there were alot of couples kissing and hugging each other. hey that's cool. but don't do heavy patting in the public la though it's DARK!!! hey yo yo hey, i love the musics play by the dancers. their steps were cool but Please Don't copy from the FB of NYP la~~ create some of your own. i think you'll look even cooler doing the staff that you really want to. Jia you GO GO GO.
We also met this "noisy" ice-cream seller, he sells great ice-cream and have a very creative mind in singing song of his own lyric. i never see anyone behave as cheerful as he is at mid-night. unlce you rox with the eldie songs. He sells ice-cream around maria bay and esplanda, his ice-cream got alot ah-da-chi only $1 per cup leh, traditional taste, traditional songs and traditional ice-cream seller ah peh :)

Leo club's installation was a disaster man~~~ everything was so so so screwed up. thought everyone of us do our part but it's did work as smoothly as what we expect. there were too many last minute changes and disagreement. Everyone simply keep quiet and don't want to discuess the problem. As there is no point doing that la...
Mid-autumn was a success!
Everyone was having alots of fun ( i believed) the band performace was a fantastic one. The songs they played were all of the oldies. Some of the hyper elderly even sing or dance alone with the music. i was so surprise, elderly dancing energetically ( that was a scence i seldom see ). In some way they are "kids" to me, some of them even ask for lantern when they about to leave. All the volunteers send them up the bus and wave super hard to they when the bus start it's engine and about the drove off. upon them i saw so many wrinkly face smiling at us, it's so warm, it touches my heart and give everyone a sense of satisfaction. You rox man Leo-nyp and the elderly. i'll always remeber the smiles i got in return after so many hardworks.
